On the 20th June 2016, AMI had their unannounced spot-check by the auditing body for the ADISA standard. We can now announce that we have once again passed and remain certified to the ADISA Distinction with Honours level.
Philip McMichael, Managing Director at AMI said, “We’re pleased to report that once again we have passed the unannounced audit ‘with flying colours’. Passing the surprise ADISA audit provides peace of mind and reassurance to our customers that their redundant IT Assets are in safe hands and emphasises the commitment AMI have to retaining the highest level of security and compliance throughout our business processes.”
The spot checks are carried out to ensure certified ITADs are adhering to the standard. The assessment includes a deep audit of processes and covers everything from accuracy of collection paperwork through to a forensic test of various media, such as hard drives, to check they have been securely wiped of all data.
Philip continues, “We’ve worked hard to ensure that we maintain first class standards, reinforcing to our clients that the security of their data is our top priority.”
AMI remain the only IT Asset Disposal Company in Ireland certified to the Distinction with Honours level. This level is held by only four other ADISA members, positioning AMI amongst the elite in the IT Asset Disposal industry.
