The successful candidate will benefit from our four-day week – only work one in four Fridays!
An Asset Processor is the first point of contact for any equipment that enters our warehouse and is responsible for its movement throughout our warehouse and processes.
It is a true generalist role, responsible for data wiping, tracking, sorting, and quality checking of all IT equipment. The Asset Processor diagnoses and grades equipment to ensure it enters the correct destination in our warehouse.
You will need to:

Receive equipment and materials into our facilities and prepare for sort

Classify and record incoming assets onto our tracking system

Sort materials (e.g., cabling, batteries, waste) per company processes and storage guidelines

Carry out data sanitisation of assets strictly in line with processes and procedures

Test and audit assets to prepare for resale

Diagnose and repair any assets for reuse where economical

Prepare orders for shipment, including picking and packing

Ensure accuracy within your work and adhere to traceability procedures

Carry out project work at Vyta or customer sites as required

Undertake any other duties within competence and conducive to effective role delivery

Conduct all activities confidentially and per Data Protection legislation

Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and attend required training sessions

Adhere to all company policies and demonstrate Vyta’s core values

Participate in company training activities and business improvement initiatives

Essential Criteria
-
Previous experience in a warehouse setting (at least six months)
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
-
Minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English and Maths
Desirable Criteria

NVQ in Warehousing
-
Genuine interest in working with ICT equipment (e.g., desktops)
