Our award-winning service specialises in the secure collection of IT hardware and the certifiable destruction of all data in a compliant and sustainable manner. We can refurbish and resell your IT equipment, providing you with a financial return on your redundant equipment, alternatively, if your assets cannot be remarketed, they are broken down into materials and sustainably recycled.

What happens with your old equipment?
We offer an ADISA approved secure collection process for your IT equipment, utilising only our own vehicles and security vetted staff. Once collected, our GPS tracked vehicles arrive at one of our secure Vyta facilities where your equipment is unloaded.
Your IT equipment is then cleansed of data using specialised government approved software. We will then issue your organisation with a certificate of destruction that your data has been irrecoverably destroyed, this record can be kept for any future audits.
Assets are then further processed per client specification for either refurbishment and resale or recycling.
We guarantee a secure, certified sustainable solution in line with the circular economy. Our procedures are accurate, quality controlled and fully documented, from equipment collection through to resell or recycle within WEEE regulations mitigating risks including loss of control over confidential data and data breaches.

For the majority of our clients, the revenue returned exceeds any associated costs with Vyta, this revenue can be returned directly to your organisation or be spent on other services with Vyta, including purchasing new equipment.
Recycling as a last resort
We hate ewaste! With over 50 million tonnes of ewaste produced globally, it would be unacceptable to ever add to this amount.
When we can’t refurbish and resell, we will recover components for reuse, per the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive. Recycling is our last option and we ensure full traceability of all assets to their final destination.

Zero landfill policy: Less than 1% of material recovered by Vyta from IT equipment ends up in landfill.

What does that mean? As an R2 certified partner we have undergone checks to ensure that our facilities follow enhanced data destruction processes, can legitimately refurbish IT equipment and that we adhere to responsible reuse and recycling. R2 also guarantees that we diligently attempt to refurbish and remarket equipment right to an asset’s end of life.
