Katie is a highly qualified HR professional with extensive experience in sectors including retail, hospitality, and manufacturing. She was appointed as Group Head of People at Vyta to drive the people strategy and align culture initiatives to the company agenda, embracing Vyta’s core values and developing the department into a leadership and mentorship hub.  Katie is passionate for instilling the idea that ‘Human Resource’ departments are not left on the peripheral and are instead ‘People Service Centres’ which are profitable and add value, delivering a return on investment for an organisation’s biggest assets – their people! Katie is an advocate of a healthy work life balance and promotes this throughout the Group as well as living by this ethos herself. Outside of work Katie spends most of her time on nature expeditions directed by her 4-year-old splashing in streams and mucky puddles while looking for fallen leaves and creepy crawlies.
