Vyta’s Strategic Relationship Director, Sue Bywater Read, has been named ITAD Individual of the Year at the ITAD Summit 2025 in Las Vegas. The prestigious award recognises Sue’s outstanding contribution to the IT asset disposition (ITAD) industry over the past 25 years.
A highly respected figure in the sector, Sue has built a career defined by her commitment to the IT asset disposition industry. The award, voted for by industry peers, reflects her strong advocacy for ethical business practices, inclusive leadership, and customer-first service delivery.
Since joining Vyta in 2023, Sue has helped expand the company’s strategic partnerships and build stronger relationships with global clients. She continues to be an influential voice across the ITAD and IT asset lifecycle management (ITALM) space.
Her career began in 2000, starting in a part-time receptionist role while raising three children as a single parent. With grit and determination, she progressed through a number of senior roles at leading ITAD firms, including RDC, EOL IT Services and Global Resale, before joining Vyta. She also holds a postgraduate qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and has trained as a psychotherapy counsellor, supporting mental health charities in her local community.

In 2024, she was selected to speak on the “Tech Trailblazers” panel at ITAD Summit Miami, celebrating the achievements of women leading innovation in the sector. Her focus on mentorship, empathy, and education continues to shape her role at Vyta, where she leads with compassion and clarity.
