For more than two decades, AMI focused on making sure every part of the IT asset lifecycle, from technology deployment through to secure asset disposal, was handled securely and sustainably while helping clients meet relevant data protection and compliance requirements.
That approach helped AMI grow from a one-man business into a trusted partner to organisations across Ireland, the UK and beyond.
As the company grew, one thing remained constant: the focus on protecting the integrity of our clients’ data and managing technology responsibly throughout its lifecycle.
But while the business had evolved significantly, one thing had not changed: the AMI name.
What we do had become more diverse and more complex.
But to our clients, it remained vital.
From secure data destruction and IT asset disposition to device relocation and wider lifecycle services, we needed a name that better reflected the business we had become.
So in 2021, AMI became Vyta.
In an industry where security and privacy mean we cannot always talk publicly about the work we do or the organisations we support, the Vyta name reflected something central to the business: the vital importance of protecting data, technology and reputation.
A new name, the same commitment
The rebrand did not change the people, expertise or values behind the business. The same experienced teams continued supporting customers with secure IT asset management, data protection and sustainability.
Vyta built on the foundations established by AMI while expanding its services, geographic reach and capabilities across the IT asset lifecycle.
From AMI to Vyta
Today, Vyta provides IT Asset Disposition and IT Asset Lifecycle Management services to organisations across the UK, Ireland, Germany and internationally.
AMI and Vyta are the same business: the Vyta name was introduced in 2021 as the company evolved beyond its original identity and expanded its technology lifecycle services.
