AMI have embarked on our 5th year on year increase on our operational results, posting the number of IT Assets processed in 2015 at 127, 842, a 65% growth from the 82,995 IT Assets processed in 2010.
“This continued success is the result of our commitment to providing a fully secure IT Asset and Data Disposal service. With more and more data breaches hitting the headlines, organisations are more aware of the implications if their IT Asssets and Data are not disposed of correctly. AMI work with organisations throughout Ireland to ensure they meet all necessary legal and ISO compliance requirements through our secure redundant IT asset disposal and recycling service” Philip McMichael, Managing Director of AMI.
Not only has the company seen growth in our operations but we have also increased the amount of revenue that we give back to our clients via our remarketing service, generating in excess of £750,000 back to our clients.
Philip continues, “We try to remarket rather than recycle where feasible in order to unlock as much value for our clients as possible. Remarketing helps to minimise the impact of IT equipment on the environment by focusing on re-using and remarketing IT assets, prolonging their lifecycle before recycling is required. Items suitable for remarketing are sold through various channels in order to provide a revenue return for our clients. We pride ourselves on our ability to get the greatest value for each device in order to maximise the client return and we are proud to operate as one of less than 15 UK companies certified as a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR).”
AMI are on track to increase the number of IT Assets processed in 2016.
