Vyta has recently been awarded an EcoVadis Gold sustainability rating, marking another significant milestone in our ongoing sustainability journey.
Vyta has progressed from its initial EcoVadis Bronze rating to Silver and now Gold, reflecting the continued development of our environmental, social and governance practices across the business.
As a provider of secure IT Asset Disposition and IT Lifecycle Management services, sustainability has always been central to Vyta’s operations. We help organisations protect their data, extend the life of their technology and reduce the environmental impact of their IT estates.
Recognising our sustainability progress
EcoVadis assesses companies across Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Vyta’s Gold rating recognises the progress made across these areas, with our latest Sustainability Report highlighting measurable achievements including:
- 9,241.3 tonnes of CO2e emissions prevented through the responsible management and reuse of IT equipment.
- 459 ITAD Carbon Avoidance Reports issued to customers during 2025.
- More than 500 devices donated to charity, helping technology remain in use while supporting communities.
- Carbon-neutral certification across all Vyta facilities under ISO 14068-1.
Vyta prioritises refurbishment and reuse wherever possible, helping to extend the life of IT equipment and reduce electronic waste. Equipment that cannot be reused is responsibly recycled, supported by our zero-landfill policy and R2v3 and ISO 14001 certifications.
Receiving EcoVadis Gold is an important milestone as we continue working with our customers, employees, suppliers and partners to deliver measurable environmental and social impact through ITAD.
