DiskShred trucks are state-of-the-art, equipped with GPS tracking to ensure the safe and secure transport of your materials.
Our shredding process can destroy a vast array of data-bearing items, including hard drives, disks, SDD’s and other sensitive materials.
Our machines can shred hard drives and other data-bearing items down to 6mm debris, the standard required by the UK Ministry of Defence.
This ensures that your data is thoroughly destroyed and cannot be reconstructed or accessed by anyone.

Witness the Destruction of your data
Vyta understands just how important secure data disposal is vital for our clients. That’s why we offer the option to watch us shred your devices in a special viewing area within our trucks.
Additionally, we can provide CCTV footage of the shredding process to our clients. This footage is searchable by serial number, so clients can easily locate and view the shredding of any specific device. This added level of transparency helps to ensure that our clients can have complete confidence in the permanent destruction of their data.
Our mobile onsite shredding process
DiskShred operates an efficient and secure 8-stage process for onsite shredding:
No matter what type of storage media you need to destroy, our mobile disk shredders are so powerful they can reduce all kinds of storage media into debris at your location, in plain sight, and in record time.
Environmentally Responsible
Vyta is committed to sustainability.
Once the onsite shredding process has been completed, we process the shredding debris for recycling.
The debris may include recyclable materials like aluminium or copper that can be used to make new equipment, reducing the carbon footprint of the original device.
Encrypted Asset Register
More than 80% of our clients request that their items are tracked as part of the shredding process, ensuring that they have confirmation of the data destruction of individual devices.
To facilitate this request, we created an encrypted asset register for our clients’ highly confidential hard drives and storage media.
The register is also searchable by the type of media (e.g. hard disks, media tapes, CDs), the asset tag (serial number or other identifiers), the number of units and the date and time they were shredded.
