At Vyta, we believe technology can create value long after its first use. That is why we were delighted to support TinyLife, Northern Ireland’s only dedicated premature and sick baby charity, with the donation of eight refurbished laptops and monitors.
Each year, more than 1,700 babies are born too soon, too small or too sick. TinyLife provides vital support to these babies and their families, from the neonatal unit through to life at home.
When we learned that the TinyLife team needed updated technology to continue delivering its services effectively, we were pleased to help.
Connecting people with purpose
The donated laptops will help TinyLife’s staff and volunteers stay connected with families, manage support services and improve communication across all five health and social care trusts. The technology will help the team work more efficiently and support more families who rely on their services.

Giving retired IT a second life
Vyta helps organisations securely extend the useful life of IT equipment through refurbishment, reuse and redeployment. Where suitable equipment is no longer needed by its original owner, it can still provide real value to charities and community organisations.
Through Vyta’s CSR Donation Programme, organisations can redirect suitable retired IT equipment, or the value generated from it, towards charitable initiatives while supporting reuse and reducing waste.

TinyLife provides services including baby massage classes, peer support and home visits. These services help parents build confidence, reduce anxiety and strengthen the bond with their baby during what can be a very difficult time.
