Many of the teams across Vyta are led, supported and strengthened by women. That’s one of the reasons we’re sponsoring the Tech Team of the Year award at the 2026 Women in Business NI Women in Tech Awards.
The award recognises the teams and individuals contributing to the technology industry through leadership, innovation and the work they do within their organisations every day. Supporting this award reflects the importance of recognising the people behind successful teams and the impact they have on their organisations.
Women play an important role across every part of Vyta. From operations and customer service to sustainability and leadership, their expertise, experience and ideas help strengthen our teams and the service we deliver to customers around the world.
Representing Women Across the Industry
So far this year, four women from our team represented us at ITAD Summit Europe, taking part in conversations on a global stage alongside leaders from across the industry. Representation at events like these matters, as it helps increase visibility for women in the sector and encourages future talent to consider careers in technology and ITAD.
Encouraging Female Leadership
Supporting female leadership is an important part of our culture. Women currently make up 15.6% of our global workforce, while holding 45% of management positions across the company. Three of our ten highest earning full-time employees are also women. These figures reflect our focus on creating opportunities for progression and leadership based on talent, contribution and experience.
Our teamwork
Strong teams are built when people feel supported, included and encouraged to share ideas. Initiatives such as LEAP training and leadership development programmes help create collaborative environments where people can grow with confidence and contribute across every area of the business.
That team culture continues to be reflected in achievements across the company, including being named a finalist for ITAD Company of the Year 2025 at the ITAD Summit Awards.
Looking ahead
As the technology industry continues to evolve, encouraging more women into technology and leadership roles remains important.
