IT asset disposition (ITAD) and IT asset lifecycle management provider Vyta has partnered with Irish technology solutions provider Evad Technology Group to refurbish and donate laptops alongside 12 months of IT support to the Ifrah Foundation, helping strengthen the organisation’s day-to-day operations and long-term impact.
The Ifrah Foundation is an international survivor-led organisation working to end female genital mutilation (FGM) through advocacy, education, community engagement and policy reform. Founded by Ifrah Ahmed, the organisation works across Ireland and Somalia to support survivors and drive lasting social change.
The partnership shows how retired IT equipment can create further value when it is securely refurbished and put back into use. Through Vyta’s CSR Donation Programme, organisations can redirect suitable IT equipment or the value generated from retired assets towards charitable and social-impact initiatives.
These laptops and ongoing IT support will make a real difference to our organisation. Improved technology helps strengthen our day-to-day operations, communication, reporting processes and programme delivery, allowing us to focus more of our resources on advocacy and supporting survivor-led change.
For small charities, practical support like this can have a disproportionate impact and helps create the conditions needed for long-term change.
