What are ISO Standards and what do they mean for customers?

Compliance is at the forefront of everything we do and we are dedicated to upholding our extensive accreditations, maintaining trust with clients and partners and helping them to stay compliant. We are the most certified IT disposal service provider in Ireland, holding 11 international ISO and quality standards. All our ISO’s are UKAS accredited, ensuring all clients fulfil obligations under GDPR and environmental regulations.

The International Organisation of Standardisation, (ISO) provides standards agreed by international experts who set a standard of the best practice of doing something.

ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) is an independent, non-governmental, international organisation that develops standards to ensure the quality and safety of products, services, and systems.

ISO certifications exist in across many industries, from energy management to and social responsibility and waste providers. ISO standards are in place to ensure consistency, quality and effectiveness.

Maintaining our industry relevant ISO standards help us ensure customers get the service expected so that we can continue to deliver:

  • Quality and reliability
  • Consistency in service
  • Transparency
  • Suitability of service
  • Credibility

We hold the following ISO standards:

ISO 9001 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.

ISO 14001 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organisation can use to enhance its environmental performance and reduce our environmental impact. It is intended for use by an organisation seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

ISO 27001 is widely known, providing requirements for an information security management system (ISMS). Using it enables organisations of any kind to manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted by third parties.

ISO 45001 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organisations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance.
